We bring huge amounts of Lego, Duplo for little hands, Lego facilitators/brick therapist trained staff, photo backdrops and floor mats for duplo floor builds.
All staff are insured and DBS checked, and hold a minimum of L1 in Safeguarding.
Multiple Lego stations with prompts, challenges or themes.
Coding/Electronic Circuits
We need the wi-fi password, and tables to seat all participants with plenty of room for a laptop, mice and space for other bits and pieces to code and connect with, so plenty of elbow room.
We provide:
– Up to 12 laptops with mice. They all have Minecraft Education licences which enable children to do coding programs which show the results of their programs within Minecraft. they can choose either block coding (for younger ones and beginners0 or Python coding (advanced)
– 2 x BBC Microbits which can be used with small robot motors which need to be assembled (provided) and coded to make them move & 2 additional laptops which connect to the robots
– 1 x box of Snap circuits for snap together electronic circuits for smaller hands or beginners to electronics
– 5 in 1 electronic circuits kits with instructions, breadboards, led lights, buzzers, buttons, resistors and more to learn how to construct electronic circuits (while this isnt a coding activity, using breadboard circuits is coding adjacent and nice to have as a supplementary activity)
We set up each activity as a different ‘station’ with a sign on the tables and instructions to get started if needed
