We are running a fully funded in person Digital Music Production Club at our Youth Hub in Halesowen for Home Ed young people aged 11-16.

Parents/Carers must remain in the building during the session, we have comfy sofas and tables and chairs. You can bring drinks/snacks, but no food and drink at the computers.

The Club runs every Tuesday from 12-2pm. starting 3rd November until the 22nd December at our Youth Hub at Unit 26, Hagley Street, Halesowen B63 3AE (see photos below to see where we are).

Young people will learn how to create their own music using laptops and Ableton Live music production software. The sessions are suitable for complete beginners as well as young people who already have some experience. All equipment and software is provided. Your tutor is DJ, Producer and Community Artist Marc Reck, aka DJ Narrative.

I just wanted to say thanks so much for the amazing music classes – X was beaming with pride after yesterday! The music he produced sounded ridiculously good as did all the kids music – they all did such a fantastic job.

So yesterday’s class was absolutely perfect – i knew it would be. The tutor, Marc, had a nice sense of calmness to him and everything was perfect. Like really perfect. Out of any outside teaching situations we have had you are literally the ONLY person that gets this combination of things that are and he absolutely thrives with you. You are the right pieces of everything a child like X needs.

Just a quick message to say a huge thank you for the lovely session this evening. X thoroughly enjoyed it. My husband and I found ourselves watching along too! I think we all learnt a lot from Marc! it’s such a lovely group and I’m really pleased that X can be part of it.
