Work With DigiTribe
Our Digital Youth Workers support children and young people in our online and in-person sessions, helping to create safe, inclusive spaces where they can socialise, learn and take part in activities.
Creative Active Lives CIC and DigiTribe are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. We follow safer recruitment procedures and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
This role involves working with children and is subject to appropriate pre-employment checks, including an Enhanced DBS check with a Children’s Barred List check where the role meets the eligibility requirements, satisfactory references, identity and right to work checks, and verification of relevant qualifications and employment history.
To apply, please complete our application form.
We welcome applications from people with lived experience of neurodivergence and from people who understand the barriers faced by neurodivergent children and young people.
We couldn’t do this without the help and support of our incredible volunteer team. They monitor and chat on our private Discord server, support in our online socials, and on the server outside of our sessions. They come up with games and session ideas, and our members love hanging out online with them.
We provide training in our work and safeguarding training, and arrange for an Enhanced DBS. You will make a real impact on the lives of neurodivergent children and young people. It’s really rewarding and a lot of fun!
We would love to hear from anyone in the gaming or other creative industries, for mentoring roles, career or role model talks for our members. We have previously had talks from game designers, global artists, YouTubers and Minecraft Global Ambassadors. Do get in touch if this is something you are interested in.
