May HALF tERM online holiday camp!

It’s back! Our online holiday camp for members of DigiTribe & MineMania! We LOVE games, so expect lots of different games to play while we chat! Talk about your hobbies and interests – even better, show us your favourite things! Lego, artwork, coin collections, trains, handheld games, PokeMon cards – anything at all!

We have a timetable below, but there is plenty of time to talk and explore our interests while we play

How It Works

We will keep the same Zoom link open all day, including during breaks, allowing you to chat and join and leave as you please. Scheduled screen breaks are also incorporated for your convenience. You can reserve a spot for the morning, the afternoon, or attend the full day! The camp runs from 10:30 AM to 3:00 PM and is hosted by Rachel and Freya.

Throughout the day, there will be various games, screen breaks, and lots of chat, with a relaxed “Show Us Your Stuff!” session at the end to wind down. During this time, participants can share their interests and show everyone their favourite stuff!

Remember – you must be a member of DigiTribe to join these sessions. Membership is free but you must have a Zoom verification safeguarding call with the team to join. Book your verification call here.

What is the cost?

The full-day is £20. If you’d like to attend only the morning or only the afternoon, the fee is £15 for the a.m./p.m. session. The Zoom link will be emailed to you a couple of days before the session along with anything you might need to know or download in advance.

What Happens During the Day?

1030am – 11am (ish) Welcome, Opposites game (active game), Skribblr (like Pictionary) The Opposites Game instructions – the group leader shouts out 1 of 6 instructions, and the young people have to do the opposite of what it said:
–Left Hand (hold up yuor right hand)
–Right Hand (hold up your left hand)
–Up (duck down so you can’t be seen)
–Down (Stand Up)
–Turn around (Stand still)
–Don’t Move (move your body in any ways you like)
Break
11.15am – 12.15pm Roblox games on DigiTribe’s private servers. Players can choose together: Banana Eats, Grow a Garden, 3008, Destroy The Ship, Cross The Road Simulator, and we have many more to choose from – see here: https://digitribe.online/forum/forum/official-approved-games-list/

This is a cross platform game, so you can play together using any devices.
12.15pm-1.15pm Break for Lunch
1.15pm – 2.15pm Up Close & Personal Creature Feature Experience Reptile and Small Mammal Show Let us know if you have any phobias before the day of the session.
2.15pm – 2.30pm Screen break!
2.30pm – 3.00pm Tell us about your interests, show us your stuff & anything else! We love to hear about what you all love doing and your favourite things. Rachel & Freyawill be showing you their stuff too!
